The Program Manager, Product, will be responsible for ensuring our photo studios are operating at peak efficiency and producing the highest quality outputs possible.  He/She will drive collaboration between multiple internal teams, develop solutions for field adoption, and make recommendations based on experience, user research, corporate strategy, associate input, and industry best practices. The Manager is responsible for risk escalation, mitigation and scope in support of existing and future studio facility technology and innovation.

What you will do – Essential Responsibilities

  • Establishes close partnerships with internal Product teams, Service Operations, and Construction; Manages relationships with consultants, and vendors to maintain and innovate our studio design, photo software/hardware, and supporting systems.
  • Accountable for Program-Level timelines, dependencies and risk management; Develops and delivers status reporting summaries.
  • Defines specifications for studio design, lighting, and upkeep protocols and ensures studios are operating to standards and outputs are of the highest possible quality.
  • Tracks progress on new studio launches and proactively identifies and mitigates associated risks; Ensures studio construction is executed to required specifications;
  • Responsible for the continued evolution of studio design and field associate processes and competitive best practices; Identifies and recommends opportunities to improve and advance studio outputs and efficiencies through technology and/or process changes.
  • Leverages a deep knowledge of industry trends and recommends technology and process advancement opportunities;
  • Prioritizes and manages the implementation of all upgrades and improvement/modernization efforts.
  • Manages relevant budgets associated with studio activity.
  • Stays current on best practices in Agile and Waterfall product/portfolio/program/delivery and project management and advocates for/implements continuous improvements that make sense for the Program.

  • Ability to apply broad knowledge, seasoned experience, and critical thinking skills to address complex/critical issues. Establishes a Program-Level plan and aligns teams and budget for action and measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to understand business goals and objectives and adjust priorities based on changes in strategy, market, or industry environment
  • Holds multiple teams accountable to drive results through limited touch points, continually progressing the program to higher levels of performance and output.
  • Clearly articulates the vision of the Program to stakeholders and delivers consistent key messages.
  • Strong knowledge of various Agile, Lean, or Waterfall project and delivery management best practices and processes.
  • Ability to provide “win-win” solutions while resolving studio issues in a positive and professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to influence and hold accountable multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to motivate, influence and persuade across various levels of the organization.
  • Ability to develop and execute a plan and proactively make improvements to process execution.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships throughout the organization.
  • Deep understanding of product development processes.
  • Strong understanding of core photography principles.
  • Working knowledge of modern facility construction and design, including building code norms and safety ordinances.
  • Four-year college degree
  • 8+ years of experience in project management and operations.
  • 8+ years of experience program management and directing teams to achieve common goals.
  • Computer skills:  MS Office, extensive Web experience.
